A celebration of community quilting work

The community outreach work of the Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild (OCQG) will be in the limelight at a meeting on Thursday, March 14. The meeting will be in Atonement Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall, 2315 N Coast Highway, Newport.

“Table walk,” which offers the opportunity to see and participate in various guild activities, begins at 12:30 p.m.; the general meeting starts at 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the meeting at no charge.

Speakers from Foster Parents Association, Children’s Advocacy Center, Head Start, and The Gabriel Project will be featured. They will discuss what their agencies do, how they do it,
