WINTER: High Wind Warning, Flood Watch | News

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a High Wind Warning, which is in effect from 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, Feb. 11, to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12.


South to Southwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 65 mph. Strongest wind on beaches and headlands.


Strongest wind generally early this evening through around 6 am Tuesday. Wind decreasing from north to south Tuesday morning.


Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.
