Gordon’s Update Feb. 11 | News – Tillamook Headlight

The National Weather Service Portland calls it a difficult and dynamic forecast. Lots of moving parts and changing models that can’t seem to make up their mind.

Right now, we are getting rain from the warm frontal portion of this system then the cold front, which was running east to west, will swing around, becoming more northeast to southwest and moves though our area tonight, then stalls down towards the Newport area.

The front will give us periods of moderate rain today as the snow level rises to 2500-3500’, then moderate rain tonight with periods of heavy rain or a rain/snow mix
