Snow falls in Portland, Salem and Gorge as deep snow builds on Cascade Mountain passes

UPDATE at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9

The majority of Willamette Valley snow appears to have fallen overnight in Portland, with some parts of the metro area getting four inches and the Columbia River Gorge blanketed this morning. 

Interstate 84 is snow-covered with multiple delays showing up, according to TripCheck.com. Roads into Washington also are treacherous.
