Salishan can keep zipline, aerial course

LINCOLN COUNTY — After hearing from both critics and supporters of a new aerial challenge course and zipline at Salishan Resort, the county has sided with the longstanding Gleneden Beach destination and an earlier county planning commission approval.

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners rejected an appeal Wednesday from James Carkulis — a move which allows resort management to continue constructing the course.
