Oregon cannabis company says it wants to build ‘community’ in Humboldt County

A cannabis corporation with over 200 dispensaries in Oregon is making its way into Humboldt County, but the company’s chief strategy officer says he doesn’t want to displace any local businesses.

“We’re taking things slowly,” said Jacques Habra, whose company, Grown Rogue, has begun leasing property in Eureka. “Rather than opening shop to sell right away, we want to listen, ask questions and understand the environment.”
