Three fishermen were killed Tuesday when their commercial fishing vessel capsized in rough waters off the Oregon coast.

The three-man crew of the Mary B. II battled 12- to 14-foot waves in Yaquina Bay Bar near Newport, Oregon, when the boat overturned, the U.S. Coast Guard said Wednesday in a tweet. The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. PST Tuesday night.
