Find your marbles, with bird survey

Registration is now open for the 13th Annual Marbled Murrelet community science survey, which aims to catalog sightings of the endangered bird in and around Yachats.

This area is Oregon’s stronghold for the murrelet and includes the 100,000-acre Globally Significant Murrelet Important Bird Area.

The survey area includes old-growth forest habitat as well as the recently designated Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve and Seabird Protection Area.
