The 644th Cracker Barrel location is almost ready to open.
Parked next to Tualatin’s Nyberg Rivers shopping center, the Southern-themed restaurant and its popular front porch will open at 6 a.m. on April 17 with 172 seats and lots of Oregon-inspired decor.
Inside, you’ll find walls adorned with saddles, a bike, photos, old advertisements and more drawn from Oregon history and culture. Each store is individually designed with anywhere from 1,000 to 1,300 items from the company’s massive, 95,000-plus-piece warehouse and wares “picked” from around the country.
The Tualatin location is the first on the West Coast. Currently, Cracker Barrel’s closest restaurant is outside Boise.
